Deleting your account
You can delete your own account from inside the app, without writing to us. Below is exactly what goes and what stays.
From the app
Open ireadit, go to Profile, tap "Delete account", type your password and confirm. It happens immediately and cannot be undone.
What goes
Your account, your name and email address, every book on your shelves along with its status, favourites, 1-to-5 ratings and notes, and every session open on your phones.
What stays
The books stay in the catalogue — they are public and were never yours. The counts of clicks through to stores stay too, but with nothing tying them to you: the line that identified you is removed, leaving only the fact that a click happened.
If you can no longer open the app
Write to [email protected] from the account's own address and we will delete it for you. We answer within 30 days at the latest.
